Introduction
Warwick Graduates'
Association Hong Kong
(WGAHK) was founded by a
group of Warwick
graduates in Hong Kong.
The Association was
incorporated on 9 August
1994 under a former
name Warwick University
Students' Association
(Hong Kong). The rename
of the Association in
2001 reflected WGAHK's
continuous growth and
development since its
establishment. The
Honorary President of
WGAHK is Professor Nigel
Thrift,
Vice-Chancellor of the
University of Warwick.
WGAHK has close and
direct contact with WGA,
the university's alumni
association. |

Objectives

Primary
objectives for
WGAHK include: |

Promoting and
maintaining
fraternity and
fellowship among
graduates and
current/former
students of the
University of
Warwick; |

Maintaining
relations with
the University
of Warwick and; |

3. |
Raising funds
for the WGAHK
Scholarship
which aims to
encourage and
promote
education
enhancement for
Hong Kong
students at the
University of
Warwick. |
Activities
WGAHK organizes regular
activities such as the
Annual Dinner to promote
and maintain fraternity
and fellowship among
members and friends
during the course of the
year. All functions are
charged reasonably to
cover just the cost.
Other activities over
the past years included
sea launch, golfing,
barbecue, hiking,
charity walk, dinner
talk, etc.

Newsletter
WGAHK publishes and
distributes a periodic
newsletter
Warwickers@Hongkong
to all members. The
newsletter is also
posted on our website
for a worldwide
readership. Playing a
role to communicate with
members, the newsletter
covers not only latest
activities of the WGAHK
and the University but
also information of
members.
In addition, the news of
WGAHK can be found on
