start with, Olivier gave a brief
perfumery history and culture in
France before he explained the
classic formulas of the leading
perfume brands. We all felt
very excited and intrigued to
learn these formulas, as we had
no idea how scents or aromas are
generated. Also, it was as if
we were learning something
secretive.
