Warwick Graduates’ Association Hong Kong was founded in 1994 by a group of Warwick graduates in Hong Kong.  WGAHK is a non-profit association with the aim to promote fraternity and fellowship among graduates and current/former students of the University of Warwick.  Operated by an executive committee elected by members at the annual general meeting, WGAHK runs a strong networking platform for her members.  Members’ activities, such as annual dinner; happy hour drinks; and sport activities, are regularly organised.  Also, WGAHK actively hosts and supports joint-universities events with other alumni associations from Canada, the U.S. and the U.K., making WGAHK one of the most active alumni associations in Hong Kong.

WGAHK also maintains close relations with the University of Warwick.  The Honorary President of WGAHK is Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Warwick.  The close tie with the University of Warwick and WGA, the university’s alumni association greatly eliminate any geographical distance between WGAHK and the University of Warwick.  With such close connection, WGAHK often coordinates talks and receptions with the Warwick Hong Kong Office, and provides support to HK-based student bodies at the University of Warwick.

Beyond the traditional roles of a university alumni association, WGAHK proudly operates her own WGAHK Scholarships Scheme aiming to encourage and promote education enhancement for HK-based students at the University of Warwick: a remarkable achievement by volunteers from the community of Warwick graduates in Hong Kong.

WGAHK goes beyond networking.

Warwick graduate is an identity.
