It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the untimely death of an admired and much loved IGDS alumna.

Elinor Cheuk died on 25 June 2017 after a long illness. She is mourned by her family, friends and colleagues.

Elinor’s funeral will be held on 4 August 2017 between 5:00pm and 9:00pm at the International Funeral Parlour, 8, Cheong Hang Road, Hung Hom. Hong Kong

In 2004, Elinor achieved a joint Master of Science Engineering Business Management awarded jointly by the University of Warwick and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She was highly respected as the President of The University of Warwick and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Manufacturing Alumni Association Limited since 2014/15. This acclaimed alumni organisation encompasses graduates from the Integrated Engineering Business Management Programme (IGDS, IMDS, EngD.) jointly organized by the University of Warwick and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 1990, and full time Master of Science Graduates of the Warwick Manufacturing Group in Hong Kong

Elinor was a lovely lady, strong, decisive, enthusiastic and very friendly. She was dedicated to the IGDS community here in Hong Kong. Her loss will be felt by her many friends and colleagues who will always remember her and acknowledge her contribution to the development of graduates and to Hong Kong academia.
