On behalf of WGAHK,
Edward Tan, Nancy Chui,
Jonson Yue, Manita So
and Lewis Tang joined
the annual dinner of
IGDS alumni held at the
Mariners¡¦ Club on 10
December 2005.
Over a hundred IGDS
students, graduates and
friends got together to
celebrate the 40th
anniversary of the
University of Warwick
and the 25th anniversary
of Warwick Manufacturing
Group.
It was a truly enjoyable
evening that filled with
games, competitions,
jazz music and other
performances. The
professional tango
performance by Donna So
and her teacher engaged
the audience¡¦s attention
and was rewarded by a
big round of applause.
Nancy¡¦s skilful piano
performance was a
delightful
congratulatory message
for the newly married
couple Ricky Chau and
Angela Chan.

More excitement came
when the beer-drinking
contest started. WGAHK
representative Lewis won
the first round and came
second in the final.
Well-done Lewis! In
another competition, our
charming Nancy managed
to convince the judge
Wingo Tang that she was
wearing the most
¡¥colourful¡¦ outfit among
other contestants and
cheerfully walked away
with a box of chocolate
for our table!

Amid the laughter, the
lucky draw began. Many
prizes were generously
donated by teaching
staff and alumni. Most
of us bought extra
raffle tickets to try
our luck. The big winner
among our table was
Jonson Yue, who won a
DVD recorder and an
oriental ceramic vase.
Manita also won a
Hewlett Packard USB
drive.

Congratulations to IGDS
for the tremendous
success of the dinner.
It was a memorable
evening and we all had a
good time.
