On 13 September 2008,
after the Scholarship
award presentation, a
career talk was held for
fresh and current
students. This event was
jointly organized by
WGAHK and the Warwick
Hong Kong Office, and
supported by the Career
Promotion Team (CPT) of
the Warwick Hong Kong
Society.
The talk was
well-attended by about
30 fresh and current
students and also some
graduates. We were
delighted to have Mr.
K.K Mui and Dr. Edmund
Lee, both graduates of
the Warwick MBA, as
guests for the career
sharing. They started by
sharing with us their
intriguing journey from
a young university
graduate to becoming a
CEO. This was followed
by an active Q & A
session during which
questions were asked by
current students and the
mediators of the
session, Jennifer and
Christy from the CPT.
Drawing examples from
their personal
experience, Mr. Mui and
Dr. Lee gave us some
insightful advice which
we all felt greatly
inspired.

Later at the tea
refreshment session,
fresh and current
students were able to
get cozy with other
graduates, from
different disciplines,
and seek further career
advice. It was a good
opportunity for all
fresh and current
students to get gossips
and feel the temperature
of the real world.

We would like to thank
Mr. Mui and Dr. Lee for
sharing their
experience, and Mr.
Johnny Li (Partner of
Chan, Li, Law & Co,
CPA), Mr. Terry Yeung
(Partner of Messrs.
Terry Yeung & Lai,
Solicitors), and Mr.
Ivan Ng (Partner of DLA
Piper, Solicitors) for
taking their precious
time to attend the
career talk. Last but
not least, we would like
to thank everyone who
had helped to make the
career talk a successful
event.
